Message from the President

The Essence of Creating Products

I once heard on a television program that Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992), a 20th-century French composer and professor of composition at the Paris Conservatory, told a student, “Every piece of music carries a message that only the listener can understand. Write your own music.” This resonated deeply with me when I heard it. Messiaen was referring specifically to musical compositions as works of art, but I believe this is a universal truth about creation, and the same is true of the products we create. Each person who uses our products receives a message that only they can understand.

When we design a product with genuine consideration for its purpose and the emotions we want to convey, each user perceives something unique, yet unmistakably sees different facets of the designer. And when this resonates deeply somewhere, it becomes an attractive product.
We strive to be a company that continually creates such products.
