KioStesso / KioStessino

A dedicated terminal that allows patients to import their own CD/DVD healthcare images into PACS.

Overview

KioStesso and KioStessino are dedicated terminals that allow patients to import their own CD/DVD healthcare images into PACS.
These terminals significantly reduce the workload of importing CD/DVD images into PACS.
Allowing patients to understand the progress of the task also provides them with a sense of reassurance.

Features

Operate easily with a touchscreen

Operates like an ATM. Staff assist customers who are unsure about how to use it, and it can also be used by staff to perform imports themselves.

Read disks quickly and efficiently

Read the contents of CD/DVDs efficiently and continuously. The progress is displayed in a graph, providing reassurance.

Reduce input errors with barcodes and magnetic cards

Read patient ID cards with magnetic stripes, barcodes, or QR codes to greatly reduce input errors and patient mix-ups. The patient’s name is prominently displayed for confirmation.

Prevent duplicate imports

Share imported exam information between KioStesso, KioStessino, and Array’s media importer Preludio to effectively prevent duplicate imports. Additionally, use the information from exported exams to further prevent duplicate imports.

Centralized management with KioStesso server

All operations, reading data information, communication information, and operational status are recorded and can be viewed and reused from the KioStesso server. Configure multiple KioStesso and KioStessino units with the KioStesso server.

Reduce workload and costs

Importing CD/DVD images into PACS can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. By allowing patients to load their own CD/DVDs, the import workload is greatly reduced.

Security

Whitelist security prevents the import of dangerous executable files.
