Array AOC Preludio

A high-functionality and user-friendly media importer.
It allows for the smooth import of image data brought from other facilities via CD/DVD into PACS.

Overview

When patients are referred from other hospitals or clinics, it is increasingly common for them to bring their previous examination images on media such as CDs or DVDs.
Preludio is a software designed to smoothly import image data from such media into PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
Many medical image CDs use guidelines established by IHE, known as PDI (Patient Data Integration). However, there are also many disks that do not comply with PDI guidelines, depending on the field.
Additionally, images may be in standard Dicomformat or other formats such as JPEG.
Preludio can automatically detect and read the structure of disks and files, whether they are PDI-compliant or not, and import them into PACS, regardless of the format, including non-DICOM formats.
If the CD is PDI-compliant, Preludio first reads a file called “DICOMDIR,” which serves as an index of all images on the disk, allowing for quick display of the disk’s content and immediate initiation of patient and examination information matching tasks. Even if all the image files have not been read, the system can immediately start the calibration process, significantly shortening processing time.
Furthermore, Preludio can automatically determine whether images already exist in PACS to prevent duplicate imports.

Features

Prevent duplicate imports

Check images already read or on the PACS server, preventing the import of images that are already in PACS.

DICOM check function

Check whether the read DICOM data conforms to DICOM standards before sending.
Re-check images that encounter transmission errors for DICOM compliance.

Wizard Mode for easy use

When using DICOM MWM (Worklist), Preludio automatically determines the necessary settings, allowing for easy import without any prior knowledge of DICOM or PDI.

Support for continuous reading

Read multiple disks consecutively.

Easy patient-level matching

Edit information on a per-patient basis, even if the disk contains medical exams for multiple patients.

Select exams and series to import by viewing thumbnails and image count

Select the exams and series to import after viewing the displayed thumbnails and image count, reducing wasted time and shortening work time.

Asynchronous reading of PDI disks for immediate operation

Perform image data reading in parallel with patient and exam information editing for disks with a “DICOMDIR” file, allowing you to start editing information immediately, even if the reading is not yet complete.

Automatic retransmission for transmission errors

If the data cannot be sent to the server, it automatically retries by changing the data format to one that the server can receive.*

*When using the data correction function, some of the original information may be lost.

Editing information using DICOM MWM and IHE PDQ*

Use MWM and PDQ for editing patient and exam information.

*Requires AOC option

IHE IRWF-compatible DICOM data format

Record pre-change information and import history within the data in the format proposed by IHE’s IRWF.

Import data received through Firebird, USB memory, or shared folders.
